Tanor is hole on the ground arranged for grilling lamp. Normally every villages on Oman have one of these. During celebrations of Eid all of the omani participants on grilling their lamp on it.
The omani people light the Tanor up with woods for around 3 to 4 hours before start putting their lamp bags which’s made of palm leaves. A next day or a day after depend upon agreement between the neighbours Tanor will be open and everyone is taking their lamp bags defined with a special mark.
